WOOD VINEGAR

Wood vinegar, also known as liquid smoke and pyroligneous acid is an amber to red liquid which is the result of condensing the smoke coming from the pyrolysis process of biomass in an oxygen starved environment.

Wood vinegar contains over 200 different organic compounds including acetic acid, hence the vinegar in the name. Due to its acetic acid content it has a pH between 2.5 and 4.

Wood vinegar is a growth stimulant, germination aid, natural pest repellent, compost accelerator and strengthens plant health which makes plants more resilient against fungal and bacterial infections.
